About Yourself: Hi i'm Ewan AKA KingSpartacus, i live in scotland, am a student at the University of Strathclyde studying Civil Engineering. Minerealm occupies most of my time when i am not working for G4S Events, previously known as Rocksteady.
Qualifications:
I have moderated many forums over the last 10 years, and even run a few. English is my first language, and i have a wide, and occasionally, colourful vocabulary. I am able to spell very well, and type quirky, which i believe will help me Mod on the server. I am liked by most players, and well known by all. I believe i am trustworthy as shown by my continued involvement with the Subway Project which involves players finding trust in me allowing them to give me build rights to their realms and know i won't abuse their trust. I have show on many occasions that I am willing to help new players get started, and show them the ropes, and also that i know when someone is joking around, and when they need to be asked to stop. I believe that i can keep my cool in almost any situation, and handle it appropriately, all the while sticking to the rules.
Why you deserve this position: I believe i deserve this position because i know most of the regular players on the server, and they know me, i know all the server rules, and where i don't i strive to find out the correct rule. I am quite capable of determining when someone is using wordplay to get around the help bot's word filters etc. I think i know the signs of griefing and x-raying, and would like to learn to recognise them more easily. I would also be able to fill a large gap in the Moderator-Free time the server experiences every day!
Availability: I am usually online from 10am GMT till 3am GMT when i'm not working or in lectures, which works out at most of the time, so about 17 hours a day
Anything else you wish to add: My Server Resume shows that i'm a highly active player, and my chat logs, if you care to read them, should show that i am eager to answer questions from newer players, help people with projects they are having trouble with, and that i am not afraid to ask questions when i don't know something, or need help.
