Nothing except Opera about a month ago. I really don't do much on it except browse, Graphic design (Adobe Forever <3), And Minecraft. Along with some Terraria and Team Fortress.

I have MacAfee, It does it in the background all the time. It's fairly annoying. But I'm assuming recently.

Mcaffee is awful, uninstall that crap post haste, go get avast free edition, your computer will thank you for it....

If the problem has started only just recently, you should check to see if Windows 7 installed any new patches right before the problem occurred. If so, you could try uninstalling them one at a time to find the culprit. Possibly unrelated since it wasn't a problem before, but it's worth mentioning that you are running Windows 7 with a very low amount of ram. A recent update may have exposed a low memory problem.

Is it just me or is that an old pc lol? i better hope that is a laptop so you got an excuse but if that were a desktop i would be ashamed to have to post the specs :p (time to use an overused sentence) no homo

I had the problem also so it shouldn't be your specs of the pc failing, it's when you just connect to SMP that it laggs right? not like in the middle of a session. I had it a few times and I just restarted my MC and it ran normal again

Instead of running minecraft through your browser, try downloading the client and running that.
