the vast majority of fullbrights actually come as a package with xray, fullbright, and a cave finder.

I don't think we can assume that he has the other two hacks. The "vast majority" of light hacks might come with those, but not necessarily all of them... so unless anyone comes up with specific evidence showing that he has xray or cave finder, this ought to be treated as strictly a full-bright case. That said, I think the full-bright alone could and probably should be considered bannable.

Q. What mods are allowed?
A. We do not allow any mod that gives you an advantage over other players. Xray mods, speed/flying mods, minimaps, and anything else like that is not allowed. Additionally, Xray texture packs are not allowed. Mods like optimine and improved chat are allowed.

in my defence
1, i didnt know mod was on
2, doesnt really give me any advantage over other players as everything is seen clearly even with mod off
3, i uninstalled it now so if i dnt get banned i can never accidentely turn it on again
4, i am a very generous player, examples: i have given loans to people with no interest, i have given away loads of items for free including diamonds, i gave away around 5k credits as prizes for a random questions i asked the chat on the day that this pic was taken,

1. Well, there is no proof that you didn't know it was on.
2. Fullbright hax DO give an advantage in dark areas (IE Caves), and more importantly, fullbright hax almost ALWAYS come with an x-ray mod.
3. Well it's moot now, seeing as you used it and no one knows for how long you used it on the server.
4. This has nothing to do with this. At worst, this could be seen as an attempt at bribery.


Edit: The fact that you changed the picture obviously suggests that you knew what you did was wrong, and tried to cover it up. So don't say that you didn't know it wasn't allowed.

2. look at the two picture i posted and look how clear everything is in the one where its off and thats in a 2x1 hole underground. so no clear advantage even if i was in a cave, and i would appreciate it if everyone stopped assuming that i have x-ray, intelli has written a script that picks up on x-rayers so if i had, or used an x-ray mod i would have been banned already
3. i didnt use it intentionally, and i havent used it on this server before.
4. how is that seen as bribery i was playing a game where i asked questions and the person who got the correct answer got a prize, and giving away diamonds to a random player, and a loan with no interest.
so it is not bribery it is generostiy, as atm i dnt really need any credits as i am working on a project.

edit: i changed the picture when he mentioned that the light was very even or something along those lines, which is when i realised the mod was on i didnt know it was on before that point. and at no point have i said "i didn't know it was not allowed" i know full well that mods are not allowed in minerealm, and i do not intentionally use any mods on this server, it was an accident it only takes one click of the "c" key to activate it.

even if admins dont take into concideration what other people say or think about players, it matters to me its nice to see that people support me, and that after being generous to many players that im not just forgotten about. i wouldnt like it if when i give credits away for free that no-one knows who i am afterwards. and i hope that more people who i have given gifts to see this thread and post their support cos it's nice to see some support.

also if the admins come to the decision that this is worthy of a ban, could i possibly just pay a fine instead as im really busy on a project which is going to be a new spawn city, and i dont want to lose everything if i get banned for more than a month, and my realms be disbanded

u claim it gives me a "BIG" advantage, well it doesnt 1. beccause i dont use it online and 2. because of the brightness slider as u can see from the two pictures i posted which was in a 2x1 hole in the ground that everything is still clear enough to not need torches even without any mod.
i only posted multiple times in response to the multiple posts i recieved, and i did not know it was on i dont use it online i use it for singleplayer, i dont need to place torches every 10 blocks because i can see enough without them, as shown in my two pictures even when it is off everything is clear, that is because of the brightness slider. also i can see clearly without torches sometimes i use them sometimes i dont, i have atleast 5 stacks of torches and about 20 stacks of coal, so there really is no need for me to use the mod hence y i dont use it. i only use it in single player and to turn it on u pree "c" which is right next to the keys used for moving around on minecraft, i honestly did not know it was on nor do i use it in minerealm, and i dont care if you dont believe me, its the admins decision.
also u think i should get a forum ban for posting 3 posts within a couple of minutes because i was responding to everyone who posted in the thread? its not like i was bumping the thread, i sent them within a couple of minutes of each other

1. You can see fine with Minecraft brightness set all the way up.
2. I use a mod to make the chat easier to read, ban me now.

In my opinion, the mod doesn't really help him much with anything. Plus hes an awesome player.

Why are you defending yourself against something I didn't accuse you of? You got to admit it looks sketchy that you uploaded screenies and not even notice you had the mod on ... You can say "this" and we can say "that" but imo if people got banned for telling the HelpBot not to be that anal about things, you should also.

and i completely understand if i get banned, im just hoping i dont as it was an accident, i didnt know the mod was on and i do not use mods in this server, im not saying i shouldnt get banned cos there is evidence of me having a mod, i admitted to having the mod, but it was unintentionally activated.

i would like to say again, if the admins decide to ban me, maybe some kind of a fine instead of a ban, as im working on a new spawn city and if my realms get disbanded and all my stuff stolen, i will probably cry literally!!
