No offense, but its 8 pages of support from small fry. The only people who can actually make a real impact would talk directly to an admin about it instead of posting in the thread.

Or are admins....
Small fry? It shows something just by these members creating a forum account, coming to someone else's appeal and vouching for someone under the spotlight. These people do something to lend a hand, doesn't it seem like a slap in the face to come on this post and state their charity isnt good enough? No ones looking to get credit for speaking up so no need to condemn them...

You could of easily suggested talking to an admin without putting down the ton of people who posted here, cerevox.

Not good enough? It doesn't exist. Take a look at any other appeal with a high post count but no verdict and it is the exact same thing. Tons of people who may, at some point in the future, have an actual impact, but right now their post has no meaning. But I am not slapping at the fact that they posted. their post itself is irrelevant. What I am slapping at is when the posters start to get antsy and start demanding an admin come in and pay attention. Take a look through the last page, you see some people getting antsy and using the high post count as a reason to claim the admins are doing a crap job on appeals when it isn't true.

Typically, admins don't bother to deny an appeal, they just ignore it. Sometimes persistence will get a shot at an admin noticing but quite often they just never bother to respond.

Now, I am not saying that these people just curl up and die. That they are involved with the community is good. That they care is good. They do matter and they do count. But there is a catch, and that catch is the ban forums. The ban forums is a special place, where very very few voices are heard. Intelli likes to do kind of a democracy thing in most things because he is cool like that and cares about the health of minerealm, but in here, in the ban section, there is no freedom or democracy or fairness. The admins hand down verdicts when they feel like it and complaints get taken out behind the chemical shed and shot.

The key here is that anyone can work their way up. Someone could join Minerealm today and in a few weeks be one of the most powerful people on the server. Putting in the effort is worth it. But you do have to put in the effort first.

Think of it this way. Most of the posters in this thread are low level right now. Angelboy has gotten banned and appealed it before. That makes this appeal a very high level end game boss. You don't go up against a high level boss when you are level 2 and still using a wooden sword, it doesn't work. You have to go out, build cool stuff, accumulate wealth, get involved in a faction, get to know the administration, basically, you need to level up. Then, you can do stuff like swinging the vote on a ban appeal.

tl;dr: Your forum kung fuu is weak young ones. You require more training!

I'm going to unban you. And yes, most people's opinions don't really matter in the ban forums. If you are caught doing anything again, the next ban will be permanent.
