So you are thinking of posting a Bounty but uncertain how to do so? Look no further. This thread provides all you need to know to place on the official Minerealm Bounty Board.[/size]
Posting a Bounty
To post a bounty you must post on this thread using the following template filling in all applicable criteria. A failure to use the template could lead to the bounty not being posted on the board or a delay in its posting:
New Bounty
The Bounty: (Name of the person/group you wish killed)
Reason: (Why your are posting the bounty. Not need be filled in)
The Customer: (Your Minerealm name)
Cred Value: (Then amount of creds you are willing to pay, inclusive of tax, for their death)
Additional Information/Requirements: (Post any specific requirements you may have here such as killing the bounty using only a bow or restrictions on who can claim)
To make it easier below is a coded version of the above template:
Bountys need to be approved before they are placed on the Board. Where a claimed bounty is assessed for whether it has been met, when placing a bounty we simply look at check to see if the poster is not banned from using the Minerealm Bounty Board and that the bounty is legitimate (aka has not got stupid or impossible requirements attached to it).
It may take up to a week for a Bounty to be approved depending on when it was posted. The Bounty Board staff commit to checking all new requests/reviews each week and will endeavour to do so more regularly.
Important Considerations when posting a bounty
When you post a bounty be mindful of the following:
[*]Any bounty you post you will be held liable for. If someone claims the bounty subsequently and you refuse/fail to pay within two weeks of its publication in a bulletin the following actions will happen. All your bounties will be removed. You will not be allowed to post further bounties until you pay all outstanding approved claims. Finally Nordica will place an automatic bounty on your head for abuse of the Bounty Board and the services it offers. Nordica does not claim responsibility to pay any bounties other then its own.
[*]The bounty board is only updated once a week. This means that the bounty will be claimable for a minimum of week. Each member may only claim for each individual bounty once a week but you may of course have to pay multiple individuals if there claims are approved. Be certain you can afford the possible costs of placing a bounty before doing so.
[*]Staff Veto - If a staff member request a bounty be pulled due to its impact on the server it will be done without the consent of the poster. Any valid claims made before this point will still expect to be honoured.
Removing a Bounty
If you would like to remove a bounty all you need to do is post the name of the bounty you wish to remove below. This can only be done by the person who posted the bounty in the first place (or by staff see above).
This will be done at the new bounty board update which can take up to a week. During this time you will remain liable for valid claims on the bounty. We will endeavour to process staff requests as soon as possible but this may be dependant on availability of Minerealm Bounty Bounty staff.
