Recently, sometimes when I logout i can't log back in for a while (longest it has been 2 hours), and it keeps telling me "Disconnected by server, you are already logged in!"... Why does it think I am logged in? Is it the authentication server or Minerealm server that thinks I am already logged in? Is this a bug to me locally, to Minerealm? or to Minecraft? idk

I doubt someone has my login, but i switched the password to be sure. Same thing. It's rather annoying, because I often get chunk errors when i /home, or I need to change channels. So I logout, and then I am stuck!
Closing and re-opening Minecraft doesn't help.

EDIT: It's been going on for half an hour now.. EDIT3: Couldn't login for over 2 hours..
EDIT2: aguy130, thanks for ur reply, i see. Any idea how to tell the server that I'm clearly not online?

Your account hasn't been hacked. This is just an error with minecraft still registering you as on the server, when in reality you aren't. It might be caused from quickly logging in and out. The reason for it is Notch's coding.

This happens to me most when after dieing trying to press re-spawn to fast and hitting the "title screen" button. VERY annoying. Is there a mod to get rid of the "title screen" button? that would be nice.

Alright... I'm getting really mad now...

Last night, at this time, I logged out and tried to log back in... "You are already logged in!"

It has been 24 hours now and I still cannot log in...

From what I have learned, I must wait for a server restart before I will be able to connect again... Can something be done?
