No map wipe, stays as-is. A few melon seeds (etc) spawned to get the blocks into the system.

I don't agree at all with the private realms being wiped even though we had this poll weeks back now that we we're going to keep them. But I'm not one to talk. My credit cards aren't here yet so I can't donate at the moment and even if i did it doesn't entitle me to anything because I would pay just because i love this server, Not because I want something. Such is life and the First and Second frog town..

Gone forever but not forgotten. Over the past few weeks I've dug and built and mined and purchased over 80,000RC in just supplies for our city. Which is a full 8x8 Box totalling 400x400 with full wall's and a moat with garden out front.

The entire city has infra structured roads and people are now moving in. Although i don't condemn Frogglenn cause he's my roommate or the other people part of our bank for not being on lately. IRL matters are more important then online ones. We've worked extremely hard to build our spawn with 3 different types of trade rooms all secured like spawn city but with different aspects to how to trade. We also just purchased 100x100 area to design a red stone arena for PvP and practise place for people to improve how to play the game.

In my opinion I'm against the private realms having to go. But I'm only a bystander in the desicions made by Minerealm Staff and Intelli.

If for some reason, the choice made before changes and we have a full wipe. I would atleast like to be reimbursed the 650,000RC I've boughten in land minus the tax of course so I can change our schedule and rebuild. I leave for Tokyo in April so Id probably be able to make a small dent on rebuilding before I leave. After checking our bank in total we would be starting fresh again with about 810,000 RC ~

My two cents ^.^

Thanks,

A full map wipe would probably drive a lot of players away. Starting over after having your stuff for so long is not something most people would want to do. Personally I would quit if nothing was imported/brought over to the new map.

Eh, it gets old when you have all your items for the rest of your time here. Frankly, i couldn't care less whether it was a full map wipe, public realms wiped or everything but rc, but that is the thing about minecraft. You continue to start over and over again. The game will just get boring if we always have our diamond tools and our realm credits. I'm with Jt on this one and i think a full map wipe should occur, realms/items/credits.

I hope for the map to have a complete wipe including RC.

I'd like to keep my realms, but i'm not completely against a full wipe. i've been trying to quit for a while now; full wipe would guarantee it

I'd love a "full reset". Map reset, credits reset, full deal.
We have been playing the "beta", and it has been fun.
But I think once the full version comes out, we are playing an entirely new game.

Everyone who voted "No" just voted like that because he/ she is connected to their work, their effort they put into the game. But the fact is, this will be an entirely new game after Minecon! Has anyone who voted "No" voted for any reason other than the personal connection to their work? Don't only think of yourself, think of the entire server. How will the new experience of the full game of "Minecraft" be affected when a bunch of people keep their old items and wealth, due to selfish reasons?
Selfishness: Caring about yourself, rather than someone else
Here you can chose to care about yourself, and your items, and your progress that you want to keep. That is by definition selfish. Or you can let the map properly update, and leave this BETA progress behind, for the better of the server.

The map will look like a train wreck with old/ new realms mixed together, with people trying to start a new being competed with in the market with the wealth of the previous beta phase? A full new game, should have a full new start. And not just the wipe I mean, it should be entirely new. So all those other updates of 4.0 or whatever, together with a wipe will make this game new and exciting! Having old things imported is like living with your cousin from the 1800's, who just stands out and screws up the entire SMP dynamic of the game. He has to go!

Everyone who voted "No" should explain why they voted that way. 99% of the explanations will be for selfish reasons. I voted full reset, because I want a whole new experience in the game. Think into the future, of a server where you can play. Would you want your experience to be in the shadow of enormous wealth, all from a BETA phase of the game? We are now in a full game, the things earned in the BETA should not apply. Relatively speaking, all that wealth was accumulated under different conditions, different game dynamics; a different game. Minerealm will now be a server for the new, full version of minecraft.

I voted full reset, and I voted this way because I value a full, clean server, unplagued by the personal obsessions of players from a previous BETA. I considered my personal losses, well over 300k cr, many realms, and many many valuables. But I value the dynamics and state of an effective server, of a proper game, over my own greed. Can you say the same?

Voted for the first option; so far there's nothing in 1.9.5 that would cause any problems with the imported realms.

Not selfish. Maybe a LIL lazy but not that much either :). I don't want to start over because of the fact I've done a lot to get realms and save my future. I just got it. I worked with lots of fun! I work towards the new world. I'm not even aiming at wealth.

Now I'm in need of money because I still need 1 realm, although I have 2 now. After the wipe I be suppling people with free food, beginners mostly. That's what I've been aiming for. I can't do it if the map gets wiped... I got a perfect chicken farm, sugarcane. I really like my house and I'm looking forward to the new features!

I've given away quite a lot of things lately into the chest. Not REALLY a lot, but I just started getting my work have result. This wipe will make me leave this server permanently.....As I have to do everything over and I can't in a relax way play Minecraft.

I play minecraft to relax. I walk around town. I check out some houses without grieving or stealing. I help people getting resources. I play the game....

Maybe you are right that you think about it this way. I still don't have much but in the end I'm not aiming for 30 realms....

I will explain why I voted for "No".

Basically since the map will be relatively infinite (to us, not literally), if a player decides that he or she wants to have the "experience" of a complete map wipe with credits reset, then that player may do so. It is simple. Donate all of your credits. Drop all of your items. Go off into the wilderness. Bring anybody who wants to do the same. You aren't limited to staying around the realms that get imported. It would be selfish to impose that all players are subject to a complete map wipe when this option is available in my opinion.

The fact that you would want a complete map wipe shows that you are concerned about other player's "enjoyment" of the game, not just your own. Honestly, I think that we should progress as decided before with a realm import.

EDIT: I would also like to add that there are a community of players who play on minerealm less frequently than others. This being said, while it may not take a significant amount of time for some players to recover from a wipe, it might take a much longer time for others. For the new players that have just recently acquired enough assets to purchase their first realm, a complete wipe might discourage them from starting over again.
