Hiding is now possible on multiple channels. Anyone can escape a fight and escape nearly anything.

NOTE: This is not a ban request on Cogohst, but rather an explanation as to how channels can be used for "running..."

See how I connect to one channel and find him. However, he disconnects and goes to the other channel to avoid opposition. The process continues... Look at the connect/disconnect messages.

Well, I can't say I didn't see it coming. Frankly, I've just been treating people using this tactic the same way I treat people that log off to avoid pvp - I entomb their butt before they can relog. Let the cowards suffocate. Ensuring their death for logging is the only way to encourage them to act as if they had some character. I don't really care if they run/fight, but logoff-exploiting deserves nothing but disdain.

Edit - The only thing worse than channel-hopping is exploiting logging off then immediately relogging to exploit login invulnerabilty.

Intelli recently said on the server that there are no minimap mods aloud. I see a compass thing on the top right portion of your screen.

Not sure what this means, but just something to point out.

He also appears to have a mod telling him what item he is holding in his hand.... yes i bothered to bring that up. Located in top left of his screen.

Well the picture with the diamond sword has a number next to the item and the wool block picture doesn't, so it may tell you how many uses an item has left or something.

I've complained about it in the past, when KyleFate was getting defeated in a fight by me he d/c, r/c then jumps into a lag hole (rendering chunk) swinging forward, hitting me while he's invincible; killing me with a wooden pickaxe and no armor, while I had full armor and a diamond sword. :/

Now, as I've said in the past, I don't promote this exploit. I was practically raging when Cogohst accused me of relogging to fight meepers20. (I go from ch2 to ch1 to get in on the action in the nether, walk out of my base, to the portal room, meepers swings on me, I kill him). It had been nearly 2 minutes before I even saw Meepers, and I took full damage from it naturally.

The question is: How can we put an end to this exploit that causes so many people to think they're actually skilled players when they're really just cowards?

I only channel hop when I'm not in the mood to fight, or fighting Kress. Any other times I normally take the kill. If you're really worried about it, just place a block of lava onto the block the logged on. It will transfer across the channel and your problem will be solved.

Thanks for pointing it out ramien, but _b3ast_ intelli did state minimap's aren't allowed, espeically the one you are using, which I see you have the rest of the mods installed most likely too. I'm sure you catch my drift when I say that and you need to remove them immediately.
