the review IGN gave Battlefield 3 was total crap. Ima rant about that for a while.
-theres something about that review which makes me think they tried to make Battlefield seem not all that.
-they complained the singleplayer story was too cliche, because it was about new york getting attacked, and russians. WELL, modern warfare 2 and 3 are getting an insane amount of attention from IGN, and they have russians and new york in them! Anyways, not many video games have that plot line, and video games are different then movies. They also complained that battlefield 3 did not have as much freedom as bad company two. However, those are also minor problems considering that the campaign appears to have a bigger and better story and game then bad company two. They also complanied about quick time events, which is stupid because there was quick time events in modern warfare two.
-9.5 in graphics? Rage and Uncharted 3 got 10 in graphics, this game looks a bit better. That is quite suspicious.
-They complain of a few minor bugs and glitches in campaign, and yet every video game has a few glitches, and they get fixed in patches.
-They brought the game down a good .5 or .8 or something just because they did not like the "lame" singleplayer? And they did not like that just because of quick time events?
-Either ign is mentally retarded or they are being paid by activision
-Battlefield is still the call of duty killer.
-I really enjoy donuts.

IGN has never been known for great reviews. If you want to see the worst review for all time, see the Ace Combat Assault Horizon review, its 500 words long and all he says about the multiplayer is 'it was fun, from what little i played it.' It looked like my 8th grade book report when i wrote it the morning of by reading the back of the book.
In all honesty im tired of Russians, i wish they would put China back in like BF:MC2, but China kind of freaks out whenever they arent portrayed as the most civil and nice people ever. So Russia is the only superpower that could pose a threat against the US. So unless i want another stupid plot...like North Korea invading, ill deal with Russians.
The IGN author probabally got paid by Activision in their war against EA, im sure if the same author does MW3, he will say it is the greatest thing that ever was on Earth and not even Ocarina of Time could compare.
