We already have a protection system in the overworld. The nether is meant to be a dangerous and unprotected place, let's keep it that way. If you want to build an awesome city and don't want to be griefed you can do this in the overworld.

Then there is the issue of players who have private land in the nether city have an advantage over players who don't. I'm guessing you want chest protection too, considering you want people to have shops in the city. This means certain players will have protected chests in the nether while others don't and certain players can have protected buildings in the nether while others don't.

You should vote yes! :'( Not everyone is going to have there own city with protection.

It's not like Silsu will own it, mods/admins will. We'll all be lucky enough to be able to expand / purchase a realm for an extenuated cost most likely.

If anyone would like to, possibly it could expand upon faction creation of more then 8 people.

The city itself will be controlled by the mods/admins who will then determine who have building/chest access privileges. PvP WILL be allowed inside the city (Just discouraged in places like the market). Raids on other faction's realms will be ENCOURAGED. This will make the city only slightly less dangerous than the rest of the Nether because you won't have to worry about pits, random lava traps or TnT going off.
