The world map generator was made before many of the new block types were added to the game. It is currently defaulting all of these blocks to black (00,00,00) when generating the map.

Can the map generator be updated with colors for the new block types? Obviously this could be delayed until after the official update to avoid re-work.

We currently use c10t for map generation, which was discontinued.

I'll be looking into alternative software once the next minecraft update is released.
