Exactly how wide are you planning this to be? And if it is large enough, perhaps the major realms can get small areas for their more "adventurous" players to live.

Well, since the nether is going to be wiped, I was going to start the city on that large circular platform in the Nether out by Crystal Village. But we'll have to see when the wipe happens.

I wanna say....the residential area will be at the top with the "neighborhoods" hanging like stalactites with bridges connecting them to the main city.
