Kress91 tried to get me banned once, but I would love to have him unbanned.
Why?
I like to know that someone who has potential to change his/her ways for the overall benefit of the community WILL actually live up to those changes. I know Kress can be fun to play with, but really, all of these rules broken would need to cease. It's not fun for either Kress nor the community, so there really is no point. If you can and will change, Kress, then I really hope you get back in.

This would fly for the first few bans, but he's had his chances. Just stop posting and let this thread die...

You were a hacker, and a racist, and changed to better yourself and the server.

Kerovon and Intelli even tested me on hacks, and I came out clean (twice?).

The ban for racism you're talking about was an error with the sign check script at the time, everyone knew it was broken. I was banned twice, only one time for a legitimate reason. You were banned many more times. Don't compare a petty thief to a repeat felon. ;D

That is because I apparently did something wrong and can't give excuses,but learn from it and move on.


I suggest the same to both of you. As to you Cogo if you are going to call someone out do so in a much less hostile manner, and don't do things like that if you have done such things as well. Ex: x-ray hacking.

P.S. I may have held to my guns on the eviction issue, but at least I learned that I shouldn't do anything that I question unless I get Intelli to approve. As for communication with Intelli... Not too great, so I just don't do things that I feel could result in things like this. (ban appeal)

No, that about sums it up. What you're seeing is something I've termed the Lightbulbs Effect. A player "terrorizes" the server and everyone calls for his head. Then once he is gone, they clamor for him to be brought back for a variety of (usually) ridiculous reasons. Rules are rules and there's really not much excuse for repeated violations, especially from a veteran player. Now, I like Kress and I think it's a shame to see what he has brought upon himself, but... so it goes.

Now I'm tired of seeing the same old arguments, so this is the last warning you'll get from me to stop posting in this thread unless you are a mod/admin or Kress (for the purposes of bumping the appeal). Temp. bans will be meted out for violations.

Now everyone but Mods, Admins, And Kress shut up. Or you will be getting a temp forum ban.

I know what he was banned for... I have seen the list, and also the chat for when they decided to ban him. I am not saying he didn't do something wrong, but I am saying that you are a hypocrite for saying:

If you are going to say that, then what does that make you??? Really... well I am done, because soon Kerovon will come on here saying we need to stop posting unless it pertains to the appeal.

I always felt that you were a leader Cogohst, and wished that I could have seen how you directed your followers in 2.0. Now that you are "friends" with kress and arguing on his appeal doesn't seem that you are the same as when I first started. Yet I still respect you, because I am not sure how you have stuck around Minerealm this long with what happens in your groups.

1. He is not "perma-banned". However, he will remain banned until he gives fair reason why he should be unbanned.
2. He was banned for harassment of other players, mostly generic insults. I have chatlogs to back this up (from the in-game chat).

However, what's been done is done, and it's not what he's already done that I care about.

Kress, if you want to be unbanned, you need to give a clear statement about what future actions you'll take, and if you will continue your inappropriate behavior on the server (etc).

After consideration on what to say, it would appear there are few things to sum up what you are asking. Thus, I can only state that you've been extremely forgiving to me in the past, go as far as to unban me for hacks (which actually did teach me a lesson, proven via Kerovon's tests on me in the pit), and now here I am actually banned for one of my most enjoyable hobbies in life and on the server: trolling and thrashing on people I deemed idiotic or dumb.

If returning to the server and not being sent to pasture means turning over some sort of "new leaf" and not continuing to insult players like I have, then that's fine. MineRealm is an amazing server, whether we've seen eye to eye on things or not. Even if I could only respect you for one thing, it would be your unwavering attention to professionalism. However you have a lot of my respect.

Like I said, if I have to turn over a new leaf, so be it. Once 1.9 launches, I wont even have much to do with the other cities anyway. I would be busy working toward perfecting Terra Nova, which has been my ultimate goal for some time. Besides, once Terra Nova launches, we'll have our own spawn I believe, giving me a prime opportunity to take back my worse deeds and help the new people.

I do hope you can see it in your near-infinite mercy to unban me.
