A $7.99 Guide -OR- A $29.99 Guide
You would want the $7.99 guide, but why?
It's cheaper.
But why is it cheaper?
The content of the guide is lacking. It's more of a "Getting Started" or a "Basics" guide.
The $29.99 guide is everything - items, strategies, tips, basics, extra content, etc. etc.
This is point I am trying to make with the price I am setting. If the price of the guide is set low, the guide itself will be perceived as a low value item. Meaning the content of the guide will be somewhat "meh" in terms of description and helpfulness. Setting the price higher will make the guide seem more valuable, meaning the content will be worth a lot more.
That being said, you could also say "but what if you set the price high to make us think that the guide will be good?" Trust me, that is not going to happen. Just to give you an idea of what I already have typed up - I'm up to 42 pages and I haven't even started talking about the blocks/items found in the game OR any strategies, tips, etc.
