When I was 9 (5 years ago) all my friends except a few were down right disrespectful. There are some of them who are disrespectful still. And then there was me. I was nice, but I still got picked on by a bunch of jerks. Luckily I am a forgiving guy.

But, I agree with you, love doesn't exist to anyone until they are 13, maybe even older. My brother had a "girlfriend" and then she "dumped" him an hour later. XD

My Little Terror of a Cousin

Okay, today I was just chilling in my Aunty's pool, being cool like usual. My cousin was on his trampoline. He was kicking a ball and the pet dog picked it up and ran away. He yelled out 'Don't be gay!' (Not the word gay but the other word with the same meaning.) And then I said 'Don't be derogatory' and he said 'Shut up' (He doesn't know what derogatory even means, so his reply was the one that all the 'cool' kids say.) He is a selfish, spoilt brat who won't hare anything because everything must be his, even though he has a younger sister (A cutie, she is two years old) and he is nine years old. I'm posting this because I could hardly supress my anger, and this is a good outlet because I would not swear etc on the Forums...

Oh and he doesn't even know what 'gay' means!

Are all 9 year olds this conceited, and do they all have such a limited vocabulary for insults?

[UPDATED] I was outside ripsticking and he and his friend pass me. I asked them where they were going and then they said 'We're going to see out girlfriends' which is completely preposterous as they are 9. Love doesn't exist to a 9 year old.
Oh and my cousins mothers was told they were going to the park.

On a side note: DreamWorld tomorrow!

-most of them are very conceited
-they are all very bad at insults (most of them can only parrot)
-he probably lied about those girlfriends, someone he looks up to talks about girls a lot therefore to him: girlfriends = cool, this means he is entering stages of conventional thought. So soon you should be able to literally tell him how to be cool and he will do whatever you tell him to do, to be cool. (you just have to do things his other role models think is cool, to become a role model)

At that age, children are almost expected to act with disregard for everyone else's feelings, as it makes them feel bigger then they; in reality, truly are. (Also, these types of children are usually the ones who are undermined by there family, i.e. the middle aged child, or the youngest). They'll grow out of it most likely. ^.^

Oh yeah, and that video of "It's fun to do bad things," is just something funny I saw on Tosh.0, thought I'd share it to those of you who hadn't seen it.

Ha, ha, ha. In case you weren't being sarcastic; a ripstick is like a skateboard with 1 less wheel on both sides. I don't understand why people can't just man up and ride a skateboard, but whatever floats your boat I guess.
