im on a mac and i cant seem to open the minecraft.jar file if you know anything about how to do this please reply

If you right click the minecraft .jar and click "Open With", there should be an option to open it with Archive Utility. After that, rename the minecraft.jar to something like minecraftbackup.jar then rename the new minecraft folder to minecraft.jar and drag the files into that folder. Everything should run fine after that.

Also, I have update the cape mod to MC Beta 1.6.5, but not the centaur mod.
