Well my realm is fairly close to Abyssus so it is probably time to start buying up land in case I end up being on an island as well.

EDIT: Also will we be spawning at out last known location after the server is updated or at a spawn?

Is there anyway we could see a map of the new seed before the wipe to know what kind of preparations we need to make for our realms?

My realm, for instance, is intentionally over water, and it would be sad if it suddenly wasn't, or if my floating island base was suddenly buried inside a mountain. Just a thought

Man....the town i live in is snow biome and the leader says if we are not snow we are moving.

Also, I would love to be in nether militia.Ill bring my own (diamond) weaponry if it is not supplied.

Well I am halfway close to Abyssus so I might be on an island too .. wouldn't be the worst scenario although I am still hoping for either a giant mountain with my 2 realms right in the middle, so I can make my house in a giant cave or a big desert. But as long as it is no snow biome I think I can accept it.

But yep a map would be very nice, perhaps something like the google map with coordinates so you can look at what your new biome/landscape is going to be without already being able to explore the underground?

My thoughts exactly... We don't really need this in my opinion. But I haven't been on in a while so I probably don't really know.

I thought I'd say that, with a new map, I may return and/or start playing more.

So when the map wipes, if you have a realm with it going like 20 blocks high, will there be a sudden drop at the edge of your realm when it wipes?

It is actually quite sad that Abyssus will be in the middle of ocean. I am proud citizen of Abyssus and now I will have to move somewhere else

Yea, looks like Im going to sell my realm after the wipe and move somewhere else, at least there will be better mountains.

Now what happens if our realms are 20 blocks above the other ground or 20 blocks under water? Will you be able to use a map editor and fix it?

If not maybe we should have a new map and get an rc refund so we Get 10k for each of the realms we own. Then also bring back the 1000 block rule so people right out of the get can't own every plot right off the bat. The 1000 block rule is only a suggestion. I want to build in the middle of nowhere not be caught up in spawn.

I like Jailbird's idea with the 1000 blocks back, and being in the middle of nowhere above the water is a win compared to being underwater near a spawn with civilization.
