i followed all the steps the guide showed, and loaded up minecraft, but it is not working. is there a cause for this?

more info: i put the correct file in my .minecraft folder, and i made a new folder which i named "mods 2" which i put the folder from "put in mods folder" . i did everything the guide said.

The name of the folder needs to be "mods". Just "mods".

Well, i've downloaded a previous version of this, so it might be the mod itself.

Install Modloader, Audiomod, and all that.

Put Zip, Winrar, or whatever it is into the Mods Folder in .minecraft, i don't think it works if you make another folder. i've had mods run in that folder that wouldn't go away untill i removed them from that folder, i re-installed my .bin and everything to get rid of them, so that may be a problem.

then click and drag the files where they belong.

again, it might be the mod itself, and i might be wrong due to the fact that i only downloaded a previous version of this (for 1.7.3)
