Excessive (Not caused by player amount due to only ~60-70 on) lag on Survival. Server restart may fix? thanks

The lag is so bad, it has become near impossible to play.

I noticed this too. I can deal with lag and blocks popping back, but tonight it was even impossible to build things, which usually is more or less doable during high-lag times.

Well, I just went on and I had to shut off Minecraft because it froze when I went on the survival server...

Also, there were tons of Exp Orbs on the ground and circling people... Maybe this is the problem. I know it was supposed to be fixed, but maybe something messed up?

Survival is having.... Issues.

It keeps lagging me out then crashing my client.

And creative is just non-excistant.

I don't know if this is just me or if it has something to do with the server, but every time I try to connect to survival I get "End of Stream error" and so I reinstalled and wiped my mine craft folder, but I still get this issue. I have tried connecting to other servers, but i don't get this error when trying to connect to any other server. I would also like to point out that when it does let me connect the server seems to be extremely laggy and my client crashes after about an hour or two of being on the server.
