BTW the open flame from your furnace is dangerous and may cause harm to the staff or sneaky people who sneak in. I suggest wrapping it in iron bars, putting it in a room by itself or discontinue its use. People will be allowed to sue the owner(s) if they get injury from the open flame. Your insurance company will not pay for it.The proprietors of the establishment are the only ones currently running the restaurant, and they can't exactly sue themselves. The area behind the counter is marked as an "Employees Only" area, so anyone who is actually able to get back there will not have a case, as they were not meant to be in the room in the first place.
