I figured out yesterday that a lava bucket will kill the otherwise invincible tiny slimes. Not sure if that was unique or what, but if your slime infestation is reaching epic proportions lava might be the fix you need.

I've tried this they just keep multiplying you just got lucky.

If you relog, they disappear, well it at least happened for me..

Easiest way to get rid of them. If it doesn't happen with one re-log try again. I've only had an issue once where I had to re-log twice.

Nooo don't rid of them I've never seen one!!! Although as stated earlier, their client side, so the only way to rid of them would probebly be to turn the server peacful, which thankfully will never happen. Prehaps people havn't noticed but the point of mobs is to create obstacles and challenge so what they bump into you in your safe mine, it's a minor inconvineience, although I understand the lag they might cause can be a problem, but you'll have to contact Botch to have him lower the spawn rate

Personally, i think its awesome. Deep mining should be dangerous, and now it is. Just remember to take armor and weapons when you go mining and your fine.

im ok with the idea of slimes in lower levels, but the thing is, whenever i go to my mine there are a billion slimes, most of which i cannot hurt. I'll relog and theyll be gone, but in its place will be other slimes. its lagging the server and i think that slimes do NOT need to go, they just need to be fixed/edited

Notch is the reason slimes are messed up. He made the game after all..

then they bump u and ur on fire sounds like a real great idea. by the time you pik up the lava it kills you or the slimes do.

I mean, you could just dump the lava down your front and charge into the slimes. Or, you could put it on the ground in front of you and let the slimes walk into it to get to you. Your call man. 8-)
