I'm getting a 503 error when i try to log on, will do some research about what this means but just in case its server side i thought i'd tell you.

Everyone is getting the error. It means the server cannot comunicate with minecraft.net, which is down atm. Meanwhile, everyone is sitting around the forum waiting for the site to be back up...

EDIT: Persistence has yet to fail me! Just logged in, two others on.

if you get an error saying saying:
RESPONSE CODE: 503 for URL (etc)

Then your problem is with the minecraft authentication service. This service is what checks if you're a premium user.

From what I read on the minecraft forums it might not be up at all till tomorrow just speculation of course.

We need a server reset, there are frequent lag spikes and plenty of auto-kicking. >.>

EDIT: Still need a reset. Seriously, we can't even mine because the lag is so bad now.
