Intelli you should post the seed in the server description

If he did that then people could scan the entire landscape to find favourable positions to setup in, this would completly unbalance the game and give others an advantage.

having a hard time finding the area where I live so I can get a birds eye veiw of teh place. I know what teh surrounding area looks like and teh buildings withing the realm I live in. but still hard to find it in survival.

MineRealm is an awesome server and Minecraft community.
The server is full-pledge legit survival, with a well staffed group of committed and professional moderators and administrators.
What make this server unique, along with an active and mature (for most parts) community, is its proprietary Realm system exclusive to only this server.
This Realm system allow a great freedom of action within one's own 'Realm', granting build privileges only to its owner and those chosen by the owner. The acquisition of one's first realm is considered a quasi-right-of-passage within the community, requiring a certain amount of effort to reach.

If you got banned out of the blue it's most likely for xraying or something of that sort, and you should really make a ban appeal and not post here...
