Echo Run: The Realm, The Man, The Legend
Echo Run was a small realm founded by Catsfuzz. Its values included Christianity, Friendship, and Stubbornness. The realm was composed of a cobble church/square building complete with the full Lord’s Prayer in signs, a small underground housing area, and a vast, rich mine at its height.
Catsfuzz was(is) Ramien123’s cousin, and after leaving Terra Celestis to find his fortune in the vast wilderness settled down about 200 blocks away from his starting point, the edge of the Southern Border of Terra Celestis.
This location caused tensions to arise between the leaders of Celestis, a realm with about 10 people or more, and Echo Run, composed of 3 people at its height, due to border conflicts. Catsfuzz refused to move his realm and maintained that he had every right to build a realm wherever he wanted, and the Admins agreed. Catsfuzz pointed out that the large quantities of trees, the quality of the mine, the beautiful beach, and precious water source blocks made him want to say.
Seemingly overnight, strange things began to happen. The mines under Echo Run, which had been scouted by Terra Celestis member Ramien123 prior to Echo Runs founding, suddenly ran dry and all the torches vanished. Because this was during 2.0, Admins couldn’t tell who placed blocks, and were never able to discover the culprit. Then, all the trees around Echo Run disappeared, and were replaced with bonfires and floating pieces of dirt. The land around Echo Run began to steadily disappear, with the beautiful beach and precious water source blocks being removed without a trace. Catsfuzz blamed the members of Terra Celestis, who refuted the claims and then asked if he would like to move. Catsfuzz did not.
This is when things began to deteriorate, and Catsfuzz went from being an unknown player to the 3rd most known player on the server, and his realm became known as the first or second most hated. Terra Celestis then began making realms next to Echo Run, with names like “Echo Jog”, “Get Out”, and “Leave”. A Satanic church was constructed within Echo Jog, and several friendly signs of “SATAN” and “LEAVE NOW” were erected, and a ring of flames built around Echo Run. He didn’t leave, and then Lightbulbs got involved. As can be expected, things quickly deteriorated from this point on, and relations between the two realms hit an all-time low, and Catsfuzz managed to make a lot of people angry due to his frequent forum posts.
Finally, after around a month of bickering, a treaty was made in which Celestis would give all of Ramien123’s treasures(a lot at the time) and several stacks of materials to Catsfuzz in order for him to leave and move his realm. This went well, and after the trade was finished, Lightbulbs murdered Catsfuzz and took all the items back. Lightbulbs then gave all of the items back to Terra Celestis.
Later, a forum challenge was almost issued by Catsfuzz, and the result was a griefed realm of Echo Run by Lightbubls, Lightbulb’s Soviet Cousin. While Catsfuzz believed that Rocky_Blast had done the griefing, no proof was ever uncovered and eventually Catsfuzz admitted that it couldn’t have been Rocky_Blast and apologized profusely for the mistake.
