Your computer is not the problem.

I take it that you suffocate to death? Well why not try /trade away from walls?

Just posting my specs because people have speculated poor internet/game speed are responsible for the teleport deaths.

I was not near a wall when I used it. I have my home set near my storage shed. I was 10-15 blocks outside of it. I also take similar damage at spawn. Home does it quite frequently as well. I have moved my home inside the building, outside, etc etc. When it happens, I fall down into the floor most often. There are many times that I have to do /home /spawn /home repeatedly before I can get teleported somewhere that won't kill me. I know people talk about doing the 2 block trick. The trick doesn't solve the problem for /trade. Furthermore, I can't change the location of spawns. Therefore, the issue is still relevant.

Doesn't always work for me but yeah that often helps too.

Killed me before too, did you make sure to make it tp the person back one block above where they where like with /home and /spawn? To allow extra time for the chunk to load. Because nothing has given me that chunk error as consistently as /trade, and never before have I actually fallen into the void and died because of it (except for the one time i used /trade to return to my main storage room).

Of course after these experiences I am extremely wary of where I use /trade from, and if I think it isn't safe I just /home
