I'm pretty sure harassment isn't cool most everywhere on the froum.

Also, anyone who is being harassed enough to make a thread about it asking people to stop needs to be defended. I did the same with Cats whenever it was possible.

I'm going to be honest flanny, the moment you joined minerealm you started bragging about how you're a girl gamer and that comic isn't really off by any means, that isn't to say you continued doing but it's the fact that you did it in the first place that left you starting off with a bad impression in most of the playerbases' eyes. Also to be quite frank, you can still be fairly ignorant at times which is why you receive so much flak. Also flanny, I rarely see lineant recieve any kind of hate so I don't understand why you're saying he does. Oh and one more thing. here's the internet's golden rule and if you aren't prepared to follow it I suggest you don't get on in the first place.

From what I have seen on this thread (and from being harassed and bullied myself), what is happening is pretty hard to ignore. After this happens for a while, your self-esteem will slowly be worn away. Eventually you find yourself saying, "I'm not worth anything", or, "No one loves me", and stuff like that. It doesn't feel very good and everyone should just stop it.

While Kylefate is correct in his previous post, it is really irrelevant. Intelli runs this place on the straight and narrow, and harassment definitely falls outside that path. Even if someone got on and was being incredibly in-your-face about their gender, harassment would not be the right response. Having a thick skin might be important, but at the same time not being an asshole is also pretty important.

As for all the "This is the internet" comments, that really only applies where you can be anonymous, which may be most of the internet, but when you are on minerealm you are in Intelli's part of the internet and you can be held accountable for what you do. You don't get to get away with whatever you want.

Also irrelevant. Flanny's feelings are mostly unimportant. What is important is the other person and their attempt, successful or not, of harassment. If they attempt it, they should punished. Its black and white, there are no gray zones on this. Which in this case seems to have happened with the offending parties receiving week temp bans.

None of the admins will put up with that sort of thing.
