Subject: Ban Appeal
Hi there Minerealm, I was mining in my realm and then an Admin or Mod (i dunno what you call them on your servers but hey yo its one of them lol) who was called Intelli (I believe) appeared on top of me. Now I was in a hole so couldn't move so tele'd home and he followed me. I asked him in chat (which had been turned off until now) what was up and he just looked at me and then next thing I knew I was banned for using 'X-Ray hacks'. Now granted yes I was using X-Ray hacks, however I did not know that it was a ban-able offence. I wasn't warned by him or told to stop I was just banned in a flash. Tried logging in again and your message redirected me here to this website if I wished to appeal. Have been searching around the website and discovered the thread called 'The Book Of Rules' and have been reading it for the last 10 mins or so ... Thing is I didn't actually read the rules before joining this server, my friend just told me the IP and to come join him. Read some threads saying honesty is the best way to go about appealing so here goes.
Yes I was using X-Ray hacks and caught doing so, however due to me just jumping onto the server and getting on with it, I did not read any rules before playing. I was not warned about using it or told to stop, but after reading the thread I know why I had been. Looking at 'TBOR' thread, I would say that yes it was Hacking (6.2), but was actually more of Obliviousness to the Rules (7.8). Yes it does say that obliviousness does not exclude me from my full punishment, but I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for my obliviousness. I hope you will forgive for this action and if I am to be forgiven and allowed back on, the X-Ray hacks shall be turned off and shall remain off.
