Hey all,

Does anyone have an idea on how to prevent slimes getting stuck in the ceiling or even glitching through it?
I made a transporter for my slimefarm that brings em to a glass cube on the surface of one of my realms, but even when I made the ceiling 2 blocks thick they still manage to get stuck in or pop through it, it's pretty damn annoying.

Have you tried putting them in water?

Remove torches, and put glowstone, torches make them glitch in SMP, not only this but glowstone also makes more spawn, considering slimes cant spawn on torches, but can spawn on glowstone.

Also, pretty sure they dont spawn in water on here, i've waited litterally 10 hours for one to spawn in my auto slimefarm, total, then i turned the water off, and got a spawn within 20 minutes, could just be bad luck though.

I'm pretty sure its just about impossible to make FULLY automatic slimefarms on here due to SMP bugs, my farm is exactly as the one i have on singleplayer, and works perfectly 100% afk, while on here, i couldn't say the same.

Hopefully in 1.8 slimes get a fix lolol, and try glowstone, that should stop their glitchy jumping.

The farm itself works like a charm. But I transport the small ones to the surface, to a glass room where I'm standing, so I'm at a distance where they do spawn, and transporting em to me makes it so that they don't despawn.
They come up in a little glass room, with a glowstone for illumination. Then they crawl up the corners and some get stuck in the ceiling.
They stick around because I'm standing there, but it's still annoying.

If thats the case then what you should do is make the slimes go high up in the air, and make a small 1x1 tunnel doesn't have to be high, they can't walk back into the ladder, so the only option they have is to walk down the tunnel, where they'll fall ontop of you, and die, 100% afk, i use this, works very well.
