Slim's don't get red ring of death etiher :p But I know ps3's do get the YDOD, not to mention xbox might be paid but at least it' more secure than ps3.

Most of the ps3's that got the YLOD were the very first ones, min 1st gen ps3 got it. I don't really think either system is better, I have both .

Agreed they both have thir flaws but both are overall good systems.

Well technically speaking, you cant get the 'Red ring of death'... But you can get the "red flashing light of death"...

Oh, ok because that is kinda what happens with the YLOD on ps3. The light turns green, yellow then flashes red and system shuts off.

No on PS3 you can get a flashing light which is exactly the same. Hence what i had on my ps3. It did not happen on a slim, but on the first gen ones. So to you rokkr... you called bs on the wrong thing my friend.
