Kso, i've 'been working on something now for almost 8 hours straight...i would've 'been done a while back, but i keep hitting really bad obstacles.

I'm attempting to build an auto harvest wheat farm, i have it pretty much working 100%, except for the fact that on here water doesnt harvest wheat...i've only 'been on MC for a week, so could someone give me pointers on why this is happening, yet in videos, 1.7.3 including, it doesn't?

Heres an example of what i'm talking about, mine is very similar to it except for the fact that the water cant go passed the wheat.

EDIT: Just to clarify, the water flows perfectly without the wheat, it goes all the way down perfecly, but when i add the wheat and try, it wont even go passed the first one.

I think it's an anti-griefing measure. It won't harvest shrooms either

Thanks, didn't see those.

Although the first thread says "Approved" even though auto farming with water still doesn't work, a month later.

Hopefully soon this'll be fixed, and my farm won't have to just stand there and look pretty lolol.

I have figured out that dropped items don't flow down water on this server. In my moat I dropped one in it and it goes 4 blocks down stream before teleporting 4 blocks back upstream exactly where I dropped it.

That's the lag. It eventually gets to the end, but it's a "2 steps forward, one step back" sort of thing.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. My mushroom farm works just fine.
