First of all thank you for your statements Rokk, I would now like to defend myself and address some of the comments made. First of all harassment is defined as REPEATED behavior intend to upset someone. This is the first time I have done anything to purposefully upset cats. The only reason I did so was in response to a previous attempt to "troll" me during which I did not even insult him and in fact congratulated him. I also wish to make it clear this incident was my own personal undertaking and had nothing to do with celestis. This wasn't even anything personal it was mainly to uphold a certain standard. You kill me I kill you, you troll me I troll you. Also as this rule about property buying is not written anywhere and I was not told about it, I can not be expected to know it and therefor follow it, it also deos not fall under the common sense argument as common sense states that if you build a treehouse on public property that deosn't mean you own the propery but if I buy it from the government then I do own it and your treehouse is on my property. Once again thank you for your time and I apologize if the word standard deosn't quite convey the message I tried to send but it was the best I could think of. Edit: I'm slow so it appears several things were said that i didn't address while i was posting. First of all in response to me breaking the official intelli endorsed rules I will say that the 3 blocks i broke were all replaced in the exact same spot with exact same material and that I did not take anything in the chests. I had another reason for opening that and it was to check for construction materials to see if there was any intention of revonvating house in the near future. In respect to the other rule I respected him at all times. I never spoke a word against him and congratulated him for trolling me if that isn't respect I don't know what is. Thank you for your time.

Buying a realm is in no way harassing, no more than killing a person in PvP. It's part of the game mechanics.

Additionally, performing an action or saying something with the direct intention of causing harm to another player (the player himself, not his character. Therefore, no, PvP =/= harassment) is bannable.

Pretty sure banning people without talking to the server owner at all tends to be frowned upon. Once again, a temporary majority doesn't allow for you to ignore rules.

The fact that I was able to answer all of your objections except 1 with direct quotes from the rules, or a screenshot of something that is rather common knowledge indicates that you are grasping at straws trying to defend him, and that you are hoping that we don't really know the rules.

I am not going to get caught up in the other arguments going on here, because none of them matter. What Kerovon says is valid. What Rokkrwolf says is valid. As a matter of fact, pretty much everything I've seen in this thread has been a legitimate attempt at an argument.

Let's see what happened here. Maxee has no other realms anywhere remotely close to Celestis Resort (the realm in question). And he chooses this realm, out of all other possible options. On the civilization in this realm there lies a sign indicating that it belongs to Catsfuzz. Now if you know anything about MineRealm, you would know that Catsfuzz has had some conflict with a few groups in the past. Namely, the Celestians.

The Celestians place a sign near spawn stating the coordinates of this Catsfuzz settlement, and state that it is Free Public Land.

Everything here points fingers solidly at the argument that this realm purchase was with direct intent to disturb / cause harm to another player, and given the past relationship between the Celestians and Catsfuzz, it reinforces that hypothesis even more-so. Maxee is fully aware that the land he is purchasing as his own prior to this belonged to Catsfuzz. And now, just a quick citation we have already heard:

It is pretty solidly confirmed that yes, there exists direct intent to cause harm to Catsfuzz. That harm being inflicted through the purchasing of a realm directly over his property and restricting his access to it as a result. Maxee, knowing that the land unofficially belonged to Catsfuzz, purchased it anyway.



Even all of this being said, this rule regarding realms is... flexible. From what I am being told, no damage to Catsfuzz's buildings was inflicted, no items stolen. Essentially, this is a direct violation of (8.1), but one that is easily reversible.

Let it be known that another reason I am giving Maxee this chance is due to the fact that I believe he was completely oblivious to this rule, and that, combined with not inflicting any damage to Catsfuzz's belongings other than denying him access to them, is what institutes this second chance.

Maxee, provided you agree to remove this realm, and refrain from knowingly placing a realm over what you know is his property until you hit the grave, you will be unbanned. Additionally, the entire current contigency of Terra Celestis agrees to do the same as Maxee is required to do until they cease to exist. The next time we run in to this issue with anyone - not just Catsfuzz - you guys aren't getting a chance to fix it.

Well, after hearing the rest of the story, my misgivings are settled. I think that temporary ban was pretty well deserved. Though, as per usual, I recommend not casting Cats in the role of the victim. Very often he goes out of his way to invite his detractors' malicious actions (such as this "trolling" incident).

I think the moral of this story is, don't be a dick.

The realm thing was meant to be temporary, after the message sunk in I intended to sell the realm to him. If my "counter troll" crossed the line between harassment and trolling then I apologize as that was not the intent. Also I would like to again say this was a personal thing and had nothing to do with celestis. The realm was named celestis out of habit and I put celestis resorts because it seemed like a sort of vacation spot to me. In hindsight that was poorly thought out and I'm sorry for insinuating that celestis in any way took responsiblity for my actions. Finally in response to your offer panthers I will take it, but would like to discuss the exact terms of the removal of the realm with catfuzz so we can reach a settlement fair to both players.

Okay, I understand where you are coming from, but SERIOUSLY!? Lets look at the charts. The amount of time that members of Celestis have trolled me: 20+ Times I have trolled them: 1.

I was just getting some pay back. The troll I performed was of the most harmless kind pretty much. I harmed no one, and stood in one place the entire time and talked. It was just a little payback, and wasn't directed at anyone. But this shows that I must have really struck a nerve or you are overreacting.

Either way, all is done. I am getting my realm back and you are going to be unbanned. Once that is settled, hopefully things will quiet down a bit.

It's already been established from prior cases that you don't own land until you purchase it. When this occurred that was still the de jure law.
