Lets put it this way. If you, savesthedazed, had spent a lot of time working on a nice little plot, but hasn't reached the amount needed to buy a realm, had a troll, who thinks that bullying 13 year old kids is fun come in and buy it, how would you feel.

I don't do much construction on a plot before I buy it. Buildings draw the attention of people. I dug underground until I could purchase my first realm (which wasn't even near where I was working). My most recent realms, I spent my entire time building an island in the ocean which allowed me to afford the three realms that I purchased together. After I had them secured, that's when I started actually building what I wanted.

But that's just how I do things.

The purchase of this realm was entirely within my rights, there is no rule against buying a realm with the property of another person on it. The rules only state that i must allow the owner of said property to collect all materials from his chests and disamantle all of his buildings. These terms shall be met as soon as possible. I don't feel any tightening of the rules is needed and simply suggest trading, terraforming or building large structures to accuire suffient realm credits to buy the realm your property is situated on. Just as collecting and building is a priorty so is collecting realm credits so as to purchase your realm, due to the fact until you do it can be purchased by anyone with sufficent realm credits, such as myself. The fact that the realm was not yet bought is your own fault and as a result i am competetly within my rights to purchase that land and claim it as my own.

I'm not sure how this is going to go down... if this is the 1st instance of this happening I don't think it would be fair for Maxee to lose everything he invested into the realm. He didn't have any rules to go by... But Cats shouldn't *really* have to pick up and just move...

Refund, for both parties? Maybe?

This has happened before, and Panthers ruled with the famous "You're building a treehouse in someone's backyard" conclusion.

Cats is just talking out his ass that he can do anything other than cut his losses and buy another realm.

I also don't see the problem there. It's a survival server. If there where a possibility or rule to prevent realms from being bought with just a building and a sign on it, the first thing I would do is to claim the whole map around spawn town this way. Maybe it's unpolished to buy a realm with buildings on it, but it's not against any rule (if you give the opportunity to get stuff out within 2 weeks or so).
