In order to keep this season as active as possible, the Arena is hiring part-time referees to host matches and ensure constant Arena rating circulation. Here are the prerequisites:
-A ranked arena rating. For now, every player on MineRealm lacks to hold an arena rating. This is because there is no official arena yet in existence. However, you may submit your application when lacking this requirement from now until notified otherwise. At a certain point, you will require an arena rating to apply. But for now, you may apply without one. Just know you will not be considered until you acquire one.
-No past bans on MineRealm
-4 years of age
-A spotless referee application. This means to grammatical errors or typos, to ensure you are one who is patient enough to check over his own work. Think a real-life business would take you fi u tiped liek dhis? Only the family corn farm.
-Read through and understand the Referee Protocol. I will send this to you after considering your referee application here.

Your wages can be determined after we follow through the above application process.

There will be a five day stasis period before you may begin reffing ranked matches.

This job requires responsible players who can be honest and make fair judgement calls. If you wish to report a grievance with a referee you have encountered in a past match, please feel free to send me a private message. I will not respond to grievances posted publicly.

You mean 'no' not 'to', right? This is before you deliberately type terribly I am assuming.

Only the family corn farm what? This isn't a complete sentence.

2 typos in the part saying no typos allowed. Hopefully this a joke, right panthers? Right?
(Also ignored all the extra commas that were not needed.)

So your saying if someone slanders the crap out of a ref you will ignore it and let the whole integrity of your system be questioned?

Why bother saying this if you are going to consider each case individually?

Then you would be fine. I will obviously look in to ban reasons and ask applicants about it.

Settle, settle. I chose not to re-edit the two typos after seeing them because I was reading the thread on my phone. If you truly have trouble understanding that I don't want to see typos in the Ref application, and find me to be a hypocrite for making two myself, then I guess I will just have to let you draw the wrong conclusions and I shall ignore it.

@Not responding to public grievances: Correct. Talk trash publicly about a Ref and get nothing accomplished, OR talk to me privately so I can know for sure you just aren't trying to make a call out to the public, trying to be an angry mob against a bad Ref. I would take five private complaints infinitely more seriously than 20 people publicly agreeing, saying that the Ref is bad.

@No bans on MineRealm: You're not serious, surely. This requirement is put in place to filter out some players before I "carefully investigate" them. Think on it for a second. Yes, I will check ban reasons. But if a player has been banned for something they know was absolutely wrong, they know they might as well not apply. On second thought, if they were banned for something, they probably lack that judgement. Still, I keep the "no bans" requirement in here because I don't want previously banned players in a position that requires responsibility.
