I wonder how much of an impact the Console/PE versions of Minecraft have had on the Java version.
I mean it's clearly outselling the java version by miles

Has the simplicity of joining people on your friends list overtaken server browsers?
I've also noticed a lot less interest in MC from the kids at my youngest daughters school, and that seems to be a recurring theme. None of my kids play anymore either.
I must admit I've lost interest in playing, but those new additions have piqued my interest again.
Just a shame Minerealm is stuck in the past on a locked map.
