Oh man, you guys. This has already been rejected, but just in case anyone wants to argue it, I can tell you as a professional, that request is WAY harder than you think it is. Trust me.

Your options are:
a) create a mobile version of the website - which is difficult, and would need to be served from a separate domain or subdomain. I'm not certain how well PHPBB would even handle this, if it was even possible. Now, in the case that it was, you would have to significantly rework many of the PHPBB templates, which is also hard work and would be a significant pain.

b) create a mobile stylesheet - which is also hard, but somewhat easier than a full mobile site. The problem here is of course you have to rely on the current template being built to a level that would support that. My experience with themes like this is that it will not be nearly as simple as you think going in.

c) create a mobile app. Mobile apps are really hard, and I have serious doubts about how easily you could even do that and integrate it with PHPBB. So, screw that.

Also, why the hell are you browsing the web on your ipod? Amazing, I didn't know anyone actually did that.

When I'm not a home I use my iPod, other then that I have templete for the mobile. I know how hard it is, I've been trying to make a mobile website for a while now.

I can create a mobile site for my website with the click of the mouse. No trouble. I have no clue why this was rejected. I hate getting on the site on my ipod, only to see that stupid bar cover up everything!

It was likely rejected because it is in no way crucial to the server. Intelli has more important things to do. Or perhaps he just has no interest in a mobile version. If one of you freeloaders wants to tinker around with something like this, you're free to do so, but don't expect any official support (or for it to be added even if you do have some measure of success).
