I'm pretty sure he's referencing that but the wording makes it sound like a really incomprehensible statement about the Fine Bros being Big Brother and people who enjoy watching suicide videos.

Thanks for clarifying this for me Krin. Sorry I was vague before. What I mean is the Finebros are two greedy jerks that tried to trademark the word React and get royalties from every other reaction video in existence. They've already taken down some videos during their short reign of terror. And they got real unoriginal. They made videos of cats reacting to viral videos. Yeah, cats. That's not a euphemism. Literal cats. Thankfully, everyone went into a vigilant tirade of unsubscribing and so far they've lost apparently 200 million subs. When they made more serious videos, like teens reacting to that one massacre with Adam Lanza. They tried to use tragedies to push their anti-gun liberal agenda. Blaming it on guns is ignorant. Adam Lanza had severe autism and lived with his mom. He planned that attack. The gun didn't "PERSUADE HIM" to do anything. And Amanda Todd killed herself because she brought it on herself. Flashing her female parts on the web to get attention. I don't approve of bullying or suicide/self harm, but they took all of that out of context. Seriously, they are evil greedy people.

The gun existed and therefore provided the quickest way to do bodily harm. Had it not existed, he would have had to use a less effective weapon which would provide the opportunity for people to escape unharmed. Without an effective weapon such as a gun, he may not have chose to do what he did at all, assuming maniacs are rational, because he would risk his own life without damaging others.

I don't know if there's anything efficient we can or should do for these situations. What is the value of a human life and how far should we go for security and safety? Is it worth it to put a sprinkler system in every high-capacity building given the frequency of threatening fires? Guns are used by hobbyists for sport and game, so abolishing guns would turn out like the prohibition of alcohol in the US; It would just go underground. I really don't know if there's much to do and it may not even be significant. There are plenty more instances of people shooting and killing innocent civilians in less peaceful parts of the world. You won't hear about that on the national news.

Had a shooting in my town just earlier this week. Police were tracking down a suspect and found him in Panera, when the confronted him the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the cop in the head. All i'm saying is that it's impossible to stop criminals and mentally unstable people to get guns. It doesn't matter if you try to prohibit them from getting one, if they want to hurt people they will find a way.

I mean, with what you said, Jeff:
I'm going into mechanical engineering. I have also been a creative writer for awhile and had an interest in firearms. I have designed several oddball weapons that appear functional in my mind, and I hope to possibly build some of them in the future. Everyone else just has to hope that I'm not some unstable person.
In America, there are no laws regulating self-built weapons as far as I have found. As long as you build over, I believe, 20% of the gun yourself, you are not required to have a gun license. They sell kits to make these unlicensed, unmarked guns. Ghost guns, they're called. People already have shady ways to get around legal loopholes with gun laws in America. Banning them would do almost nothing. These guns can be untraceable unless you find a fingerprint or dna on it. No numbers, no information.

And that's somewhat worrisome.

(Although my guns will be frikkin' sweet, no lie. Although at best they're around the efficiency of a bolt-action so whatever.)

Ok, well one: That's a generalization. Not all feminists are like "all men should die" or "women are the master race". I would know, I am one and I'm a guy. Feminism is the same as Black Power (Pro-black, not anti-white). It works for both genders (or the other genders, whatever someones preference is). More men are raped in the US than women, surprisingly, and go through social issues like losing child custody battles and so forth and feminism fights for exactly of the sexes so issues concerning the male and female (or whatever your preference) are resolved. I feel like the only reason people crap on feminism is because it has the prefix "fem" and because there's a handful of people that misinterpret it, or advocate it in really destructive ways.

To be honest, and this is based off of my own observations of social news and whatever biases come into play here, but feminism is more needed in societies like the Middle East or Africa than the United States. There are some things that America can reform to make women and men more equal on the playing field but the concept of feminism, and again this is just subjective, is more needed in countries where genital mutilation or systematic oppression on women occur regularly.

Relating to what Eah said about guns though, I don't think social issues will ever be truly resolved. There's still gonna be that group of racists/sexist/homophobic/xenophobic/etc. people, no matter how small that demographic is. Pretty sure true peace and equality happens when everyone's dead.
