Can't wait till we get a fibre cable going through our neighborhood. 23 Mbps just doesnt do it anymore.

According to my father, we're probably swapping to fioptics soon so that'll be pretty rad. Current internet can't seem to hold constant- it has really good moments and really bad moments, even when you aren't really doing anything... so anything would be an improvement. Should probably make playing online games practical again, though, so pretty hype.

You can always try using a latency fix even for slow internet as it may help you for some games. I used it before I got the faster speed and it worked great at the time. Even my friend on Satellite was able to play with a lot less lag.

Should be swapping across to a combination of VDSL/fibre in May when broadband is upgraded in my area. Hoping for 100Mb/s down and 40Mb/s up, but more realistically will likely be in the 70-80Mb/s down and 30Mb/s up range.
