So I made the big mistake of purchasing a blu-ray disc.
Does anyone know how to play an encrypted blu-ray movie on Windows 8? I've tried using that VLC aacs thing that many tutorials talked about, but no luck.

Not quite sure how buying a superior format is a mistake but ok...

So https://potplayer.daum.net apparently plays everything, but what you really need is a codec pack. I thought VLC included one tbh.

Give k-lite or http://shark007.net a try.

Right. I have a CD-Rom that can read Blu Ray discs, but I'm lacking the program to play it. I'll take a look at the ones you and Bulldog have posted. Thanks!
