2. No one plays on v5, and Intelli spent all that time developing a fresh new server system that won't even be used, setting back server development by months.
I realllllly don't like the "complete reboot" idea we're talking about because, like I've said, MineRealm is about continuity: economic continuity, physical continuity, and cultural continuity. With a new server that has no direct link to the original, we lose that, same as if we were to have a map wipe—only more so, with no credit preservation or anything. I understand wanting to have fresh and new stuff—I like it too. But I'm afraid that it will lead to the death of v4, and I don't think that's a price worth paying.
