Looks good, it would be nice if the world map was broken out into smaller tiles and you could view more of the map, a web page to move around the view or something, rather than just one big image.

Any chance you will pre-generate land on the new map so we don't have massive lag for the first day?

I've used this in the past and, while slow, it does work well.

It's process is pretty basic: relocate spawn, start server, let server generate chunks around spawn, shut down server, move spawn, let server generate chunks around spawn, shut down server, move spawn.....

We already walked most of the map. Four of us walked each cardinal direction until we reached the border then we each walked to a corner of the border. Then we circled the spawn slowly moving away from spawn to make larger circles to render more chunks.

I've explained this a few times but some people still don't seem to understand. The length of each border is ~6,000 blocks, and the reason you see a number that is ~3,000 on either the X or Z coordinate is because the spawn of the map is X 0, Z 0. Meaning that the borders are 3,000 blocks from spawn in four directions, N, S, E, W.

So imagine walking 3,000 blocks N of spawn and hitting the border, then turn back around and walk all the way to the other border on the south side of the map. You would walk 6,000 blocks.
