Seems strange you'd allow the "100% legit" survival server onto 1.7.2.

There still exists the item duplication bug. And it's pretty easy to do. Somebody could just find a diamond block and dupe it to kingdom come and destroy the economy.

Everybody buys diamonds. And allowing duping to take place is never a good option.

Imo, if people can't get their hands on a 1.6.6 client then they will have to be patient.

And this isn't 'a few' diamonds. This is chests upon chests upon chests upon chests of diamonds and lapis, coal, iron, wood, sand, dirt, everything. It ruins the integrity of the server. Basically turns certain people int mods until it's fixed.

What's the point of a legit server that allows cheating? And there's no real great way to police this.

We don't allow duping. Never ever ever. But like you just admitted, there's no real great way to police duping. So what's the plan of action then? "Stricter duping laws?" Also, Notch's 1.7.2 hotfix pretty much eliminated the duping issue on our server.

I assume it will go something like this:

1. Jeb (from the makers of Minecraft: Mojang) fixes bug in 1.7.3
2. All mods are upgraded to 1.7.3
3. Minerealm is only up for people still logged into 1.7.2
4. Weekend comes, Minerealm admins update to 1.7.3, update mods to 1.7.3, test, play.

Now, as to which weekend either this or next or the one after that... depends on when jeb fixes the bug.
