Gabe's face on a new VR product? Within a week the name Occulus would be forgotten, and every single human being on the planet would know it wasn't going to do anything stupid like signing on with facebook.

The fact that you still need a gamepad is a deal breaker. If only it were a direct neural connection, then you could simulate movement too. But as much as I would want to try this, I know I would never want to leave.

God, I can just see it now, everytime you go to use your oculus rift they'll be a big message blocking the entire interface that'll demand you log into facebook for useless crap like "see what your friends are playing" and you wont be able to do a single thing with it without your entire extended family knowing.
