Hi, I was just banned from the server while running to my friends camp. I was banned by jtcannon and I did not see a reason why. I had text off so I didn't see anyone talking and am not sure if he gave a reason there.

I don't believe that I did anything wrong and hope for a reverse of the ban.

I didn't realize you were saying anything. I had the HUD off with f1. I also did not steal any diamonds.

So can you explain why you had a stack of 64 diamonds in your inventory at the time? Besides those diamonds, you had basically nothing else.

I did not steal anything. Whoever it was dropped them on me in a crowded room. I don't know why anyone would be that careless with anything they were trading.

I definitely did not steal anything and I do not believe that I did anything wrong. I do not believe that I should be banned for someone throwing diamonds on me.

I apologize for not responding to you as I had chat and the HUD off. I was simply trying to get to my friends village with the coordinates screen up while watching TV.

It's always been bannable. It's blatant thievery.

I see how hijacking trades would be frowned upon and wouldn't be upset if I had done this, but but I did not. I did not run in-front of any trade to "hijack" anyone, it was dropped on me. Like I said I was still in a crowded area with many around, I do not believe that I should be banned for a player carelessly choosing to trade with someone next to me. I had no intent to steal anything and do not understand why I should be banned for another persons mistake.

If I was trading stuff that I didn't want to lose I wouldn't be trading with someone while he is right next to others. I wasn't even moving when it happened... I have done nothing wrong. The other player was careless and again I do not believe that this is any grounds for a ban. I hope you reconsider your position so that I can play the game with my friends.

Stealing from a trade is both illegal and legal, depending on which admin/mod catches you or which rule thread you are reading. I have seen it both ways multiple times in different threads.

Second, a player not responding to chat should not be a surprise. Chat is a filthy mess of gibberish given how many people are talking on it. Beyond that, there is a sign at spawn explaining how to turn chat off, so a player not seeing a chat message is to be expected. Did anyone ever /msg dogbert or did they only do all chat?

Messaging wouldn't of made a differance, he had the entire chat off (Including messages), and having
HUD off all the time is rare so I call BS. I think he is just giving excuses.
