Event Hosting:

So, we just got out of a very fun session of LBG and I would like to suggest that we make this a weekly thing (Can be daily, ect...). I really felt like this brought us together as a community for one of the only times that I have been on the server.(I have been on for 2 and a half years)

So here it is:

Hire an Event Host - If Intelli wants to be the Event Host, then he can, but I'm suggesting that someone else take his spot figuring he is constantly coding to help the server become something bigger and better.

If we hired someone, we would simply give him/her the Perms to the land and also the commands that are needed. This could become something big guys, so lets support this.

Make it a weekly thing - I feel that having this event (And others in the future) would help to bring us together in such an amazing way with laughs and joy all around. I feel that a weekly date should be set for everyone to know when and where the event is going to be posted. (We could event create an event page on the website)

Overall, I thought this was one of the great experiences on the server and should really be expanded to give the full potential that it should receive. I don't know if this has been suggested before, but feel free to give other ideas and, as always, support this to give our community something more for the future.

I voted yes, because the LBG tournament seems to have invigorated MineRealm in a way that hasn't occurred in a while. As such, regular tournaments would work as a great way to liven up the server and bring the community together.

Does this include regular events besides LBG? Such as PVP, Horse Racing/Hurdles, Jousting, Etc?
I think having an array of events would also bring in people who, say, don't like PVP or LBG, but really like racing horses. I think it would lead to everyone being a little more close knit, and I'm voting yes under the assumption this means more events than LBG.

I voted yes as events would be great but be careful to not go over the top. If events are too frequent people will get bored quick, if something is a rarity it will have a better turnout and more enjoyable. I would also love to see a variety of events such as the ones suggested above and would love to join in thanks.

I voted yes, but like you said, you can't just expect intelli to do this all the time.

Now what I think a very smart thing for intelli to do would be to temporarily sell (give expecting them back eventually) his 2 spawn realms there to someone like teejay or another staff member who is very active to host events. This way we don't have to constantly bug intelli to add people to the realm or do stuff and we can all get together more often.

What we really just need is someone active who'd be willing to do this, and enough easily accessible space.
