Bit late, but I'm using SEUS preview at the moment. Hopefully the full release will be this good!

As far as this city goes my favourite locations so far are the (3000,4000) area and the savanna area north of Abyssus. Again, lets wait for the world map before we decide an area and buy up the land.

I have an idea - how about (to preserve the land) we make flattening of large areas forbidden in the city? Might sound a bit much, but if we want to keep the place looking pretty for ages to come we may want to impose some rules to keep the place looking nice.

Will there be a truce of sorts for players participating in this when the mist comes?
I can see people not wanting to help if they start loosing their inventories.

Yes, my most hated thing in Minecraft is excessively flattened land. (See my vid how to build ep 2 lol)

We will be keeping 90% of the terrain natural while trying to find the best spaces to build our buildings. FyreUK would be a great youtube channel to look to for inspiration for this project. Now obviously we don't have creative or insane coordination for this build, and not everyone on Minerealm is an insane builder, so we'll follow them vaguely but not strictly by any means.

I would frown upon those who PVP within this city, at least within those realms that are being worked upon. Obviously people might come to hunt those who are working on this, but they're just scumbags and we can all just cower together in a hole in the ground

So now that we have a map online. It's much easier for is to scout and share locations. Post links to/screenshots of the coolest spots you find here!

As a quick reminder: we are looking to create a community owned city, flattening as little land as possible while building in an interesting and dynamic area. Sea-frontage, mountains, valleys are all nice looking, but savannah and other arenas can be very cool too!

The city would be open for building to anyone that asks for a spot. We might run a particular theme, and not-so-good builders would be fine to build things with the help of an experienced builder giving them pointers and helping their build stay pretty and perhaps 'in-theme'

Hope you guys have some cool spots!

The first picture is a good location in my opinion. The area is not over run with private realms. I am planing on make rail ways to that area anyway, because that is just south of the area I live.

Yeah, wraith, the first picture is the 3000,4000 location I posted earlier, but the one surrounded by ocean looks very cool too. It could be limited for expansion though which might become an issue, whereas the first location doesn't have that issue at all.
