If you vote no, please state why you voted this way. On the other hand, if you vote yes, please state why. Maybe people will think things through a bit more.

Also, Please keep things to yourself if they add nothing to this topic.

I voted no, since I think its a weird suggestion, some kind of freedom must be left to the owner of the plots, and it is a part of the game collecting resources and do something with it.

But I think its important to keep the map nice and clean, so a suggestion to make it required to leave a plot/area in a nice looking shape I would support right away. Fix the surface, plant trees and make it look nice for the next visitor. Which should be required even when you sell a realm back to server.

These should be punished/forbidden:

(digging clean desert for example without make a nice looking surface with sand)

http://map.minerealm.com/map/#/-930/64/3181/max/0/0
(This ugly skyblocks, already have someone made something similar over one of the roofed forests, and made it look really ugly.)

http://map.minerealm.com/map/#/-2023/64/4331/max/0/0
(hollowing out realms without restoring the surface.)

But "destroying" the new biomes is to vague, it could mean touch/mine/collecting resources or making it look like these three links.

Just my opinion.

How about no mass destruction of new biomes. Yes harvest all the new stuff youd like, but do it one layer under the layer we all see, or look for no underground items, not in caves but strip mine for them. Shoot hollow an entire realm out but leave the top layer so to the normal eye it looks like a normal realm. But hey don't listen to me. It's not like this only happens once every 3 years. Cherish it while you can. You can always earn credits through alternative ways.

I voted no because this isn't a nature preserve. It's a public Minecraft server with a lot of players. Those players gotta get blocks and then build with them. Environmentalism and MineRealm don't mix very well. You may be interested in single player or a small whitelist server. But even so, it does seem that many players bought up certain biomes, presumably to preserve them in most cases. If that's what you want to do, it's up to you to make the land private.

Voted no, because:

1: This would be EXTREMELY difficult to enforce
2: Where do you draw the line between harvesting/destroying the land, anyway? How can you tell?
3: Why can't we have faith in people and just ask them nicely to try to keep things nice? We all know how the land looked, and we all hated it, so just try to keep it clean. No one wants to look at more ripped-up realms any more than you do. So just do what's right and kind.
4: I see no need to increase the workload on the staff.
5: What everyone else has said, buy what you want to preserve, and then you can do what you want with it.

Just my opinions.
