Gentlemen, in my Summer boredom I began a project. I want this project to be HUGE. I want to establish a universe (similar to Star Wars, but... y'know... not Star Wars). This is an ambitious project for a 13 year old boy, but boredom is a powerful thing, and I may very well work on this on most of my free time. Anywho, here is the very beginning of my universe. Constructive criticism please, and obviously no arguing about evolution. The main planet of Crea (do you like it, sharingan?) will be the center of the story. I will add to this a lot over the vacation and keep you guys posted if you want. Here it is:
There was a flash of light, larger than there ever was or would ever be. Dust, gas, energy was scattered infinitely through the new and blossoming magnificence. Every direction was nothing but potential. A clean slate; a canvas.
Millennia passed. Some clouds of gas gathered into monstrous flaming masses. Some dust gathered into rock. Some rock, chipped away from constant motion in the blackness, from orbit, formed into spherical bodies. Among a special and ideal few of these, was Crea, its four moons circling it as it circled the young star, Terraparce. This innocent, blue dot began swarming with cellular life.
And so Crea’s life, as well as the young galaxy, evolved. Molecules became plants and creatures in the liquid water. The seemingly meaningless and still miniscule creatures swam into functioning, intelligent life forms, as plant life grew and multiplied. The oceans of the young planet became abundant in hundreds of different species, and over millions of years, some of those species made their way on to land.
Evolution continued, fierce and uninterrupted, branching into thousands of forms. Trees and flowers sprung up on islands, colossal and small. Landforms rose and fell with the planet’s shifting interior and erosion. Clouds formed and rolled across the sky in the perfect atmosphere, raining and snowing in the infinite cycle.
Among the commotion and growing of a universe, a growing galaxy, a growing solar system, a growing planet, Crea found itself with a primitive but quickly learning creature. Crea found itself with early humans.
