For a year anyways till the next great version comes out.

I had the same phone for nearly 10 years until I got my S4. I don't have the money to throw around like some people every time the next gen comes out.

Low tech, but there's less of a danger of radiation poisoning.

But actually, I don't have a phone, or at least one worth showing.

I currently have an Iphone, but I'm thinking of switching.
Last year I had to get it replaced after it got rained on and started having power supply issues.
Gets extremely hot after charge, 50-80c+ and has a tendency to overheat and battery life shortens dramatically.
Same problem this year with the rain storms in the UK.

Need a waterproof phone that has the same functionality or better than an Iphone, because, starting to go off Iphone's reaally quickly.

You might want to look into the Sony Xperia Z1 or the Galaxy S4 active - both are waterproof

I switched from an iPhone over the summer to an HTC One (currently running Cyanogenmod 10.2 stable) and I absolutely love it.

Technically the potassium in the banana is slightly radioactive so high tech or low tech you're going to die either way

I have an HTC EVO and it's great and all but lets face it wouldn't carrying around a giant phone to a homephone be much more convenient? Lets face it, having one phone makes it much easier than owning 2 for everyone around you.
