this made my day, and after research I have made a minor mistake. Christians and Chatjolics and muslims are part of the same religion but they split off into seperate religions. I do support this guy though he is excellent but I do disagree with some of the stuff Catholics do also.
Islam isn't the same as Christianity any more than Christianity is the same as Judaism. Judaism came from Isaac, Islam came from Ishmael, and Christianity came from Jesus (Yeshua). Islam in general doesn't carry with it the belief that Jesus was the Messiah, just a prophet or wise man. They all came from Judaism, to some extent; for several centuries, in fact, Christianity was generally considered a denomination of Judaism, until they made an effort to distance themselves from it.
Furthermore, Catholicism is as much Christianity as Protestantism, Orthodoxy, Evangelicalism, or any other Christian denomination.
