I have no idea if pig spawners can naturally generate in worlds ( Though based on this thread it seems they can? ). I know they can be placed with programs such as invedit or in world editing programs.
The pigs which spawn that seem to be invulnerable are that way because they are client side spawned. I.E. other people can't see the pigs you see if they haven't been there next to you the entire time, though they'll gradually see their own invincible pork spawn over time just like you do. Re logging makes all the invincible ( client side ) pigs disappear.
At least, that's how it used to be I'd say 2 or 3 months ago. Which is when I figured all of this out by tinkering with invedit on my own server with friends. Obviously since that much time has passed the patches could have changed any number of things, so take all that with a grain of salt.
